The High School of Dundee has held its annual Remembrance Parade.
Staff and pupil members of the High School’s Combined Cadet Force paraded in front of the School, watched by members of the School community. Rector of the High School of Dundee, Dr John Halliday, read the exhortation, and Reverend Keith Hall of Dundee Parish Church St Mary’s led the gathering in prayer.
Head Boy Cameron Richardson, and Head Girl Joanna Tait, together with Junior School Pupils Lewis Hall and Mhairi Pratt, laid a wreath on the School memorial.
Captain Graham Rodger, Acting Contingent Commander of the School’s Combined Cadet Force, said: “This is always a very moving occasion for all those involved – whether cadets, pupils or staff. It is more important than ever that we continue to remember those who have given their lives for us over the years, and I am proud that we continue to mark this occasion and ensure that the key messages of Remembrance Day are passed down to the next generation.”
