SQA post-appeal results 2011

Our SQA results for 2011 have now been updated after completion of the annual  appeals process.

Form 5 pupils at the High School achieved a record pass rate at Higher of 96%, beating the previous best by 2.8%. 58% of all papers were A grade passes and a fifth of all candidates achieved five straight As. 71% of pupils achieved five Higher passes.

Form 6 pupils achieved a very high standard for Advanced Highers, with 53% of papers passed at A grade, and 78% passed at A or B.

Form 4 pupils also performed extremely well, achieving a 98.8% pass-rate at Intermediate 2. In addition, 92% of Standard Grade papers were passed at Credit level, with 72% of all papers passed at Grade 1. 90% of all Form 4 pupils achieved five or more passes at Credit or Intermediate 2.
