Earth Period highlights energy issues
Pupils have been raising awareness of environmental issues with an Earth Period.
Between 1.50m and 2.30pm on Thursday, pupils and staff were encouraged to switch off all unnecessary electrical devices and save energy.
Signs have also been issued to rooms around the school as a reminder to switch off lights where possible.
Today’s event was organised by the High School’s Eco-Schools Club, which aims to encourage environmentally-friendly practices across the school.
