Pupils complete 145km hike

Comrie to FW hikeFive pupils have braved the summer weather to undertake a 145km hike from Comrie to Fort William.

Peter Vannet, Callum Strachan, Cameron Lockhart, Mark Cant and David Hayes undertook the walk, which was inspired by David's departure from the High School to start Army training.

The hike ran from Thursday 4 – Wednesday 10 August.  The boys spent three nights camping in Bothies and three nights wild camping in challenging conditions, and carried all the food and equipment required for the six-day expedition.

Speaking after their return, Peter said: "Together we overcame the challenge and had an extremely enriching experience."
