Three F6 pupils recently spent several weeks working alongside professional scientists, as part of the annual Nuffield Foundation Science Bursary scheme.
Cameron Spencer, Vivek Manthri and Russell Bearn worked on projects desigen to give them experience of working in a laboratory.
Nuffield Foundation Science Bursaries offer up to 100 bursaries a year in Scotland, for students to work alongside practising scientists, technologists, engineers and mathematicians.
Projects take place during the summer holidays, giving students an insight into the world of scientific research and development.
