Pupils at the High School of Dundee have raised a total of £3,500 for Tayside Children with Cancer and Leukaemia (TCCL).
The money was raised during the school’s annual Christmas Concert, which took place in the Caird Hall in December. More than 400 pupils took part in the event.
Jean Melville, Head of Music at the High School, said: “Our Christmas Concert is always a wonderful opportunity for us to support worthwhile causes. This is an incredible amount of money to raise in a single evening, and I hope that TCCL find it useful.”
Founded in 1994, the charity provides quality support to families with children who suffer from cancer or leukaemia. Chairman John Walker accepted the cheque on behalf of the charity.
