To apply for a place, you should complete the High School of Dundee Application Form in full and send it, together with the registration fee, to Alex McGrory, Head of Admissions, High School of Dundee, Euclid Crescent, Dundee DD1 1HU.
Please see our Nursery Admissions page for details of how to apply for a place at the High School of Dundee Nursery.
Please note that an application must be received before your child can be added to our lists for any place. Applications cannot be made electronically, as a signature is required. Application forms are also available on request from the Admissions Office.
The registration fee (Junior and Senior Years applications) helps to cover the cost of processing your application, including administering and marking the assessment. If the fee is not received, your application will not be processed and will be returned to you.
Tours of the school can be arranged at any time during term time.
Timescales for application for entry in August normally run as follows, but please see our Entry in 2017 page for exact details for 2017.
We will accept applications at any time of year, but please note that assessments cannot be carried out during the holidays, apart from one date each August shortly before the start of the new academic year. As some stages are often oversubscribed, we would in any case recommend that you apply as early as possible.
Where a year group is oversubscribed, we will in the first instance consider only those applications that have been received by the published deadline. Later applications will only be considered if spaces remain after this process has been completed.
